English The creators continue to excel in casting, consistently hitting the mark with each character. It's truly fantastic. However, I found the beginning of the fourth season somewhat lifeless — not in reference to Lord Mountbatten's fate, but in the overall atmosphere. ()

English Few, if any, episodes had more going on than this one. The deadly IRA, an assassination attempt, Margaret Thatcher famously played by Gillian Anderson and finally the innocent Diana in the original opening. A very intense first episode that set forth the themes for the next few. ()
