English This is a formulaic and almost pointless sequel that is only kept afloat by the middle section regarding the development of the relationship between Mob and Reigen. This is the only aspect that gives the existence of a second season a reason to exist, though it begs the question of whether a shorter OVA that focused only on the development of these two characters could have been created instead of the sprawling 13 episodes. The rest of the season is just padded out with filler, in which compared to the first season jokes, interesting characters, and plot shifts are significantly thin on the ground, and thus the positive impression from the successful first season is lost in this piece of meh. The Bones animation studio is let loose as tradition dictates, to show off their skills quite spectacularly, especially in the action sequences. However, just like you cannot make Nutella out of dog shit, the clever animators cannot make up for the zero plot topped off with an extremely shallow villain who was so dull and boring that I could not even remember his name. No matter how many tricks up their sleeve they have. A severe misfire and a weak 2 stars. ()

English I preferred the second season of Mob Psycho 100 to the first as I just enjoyed it more. I immediately liked the first episode of this second season, which I found a bit deeper and more sophisticated than anything I had previously seen (in the first season). I found its short story very interesting. I also liked the character development, the fact that at some point the main male protagonist Mob was able to stand up to his "master", and his character finally started to come through more intensely as he was rather flat in the first season compared to this. Similarly, Reigen was increasingly more likable in this season. In addition to all that, I also enjoyed the ending and the final fight scene, although there was too much talking for my taste. However, it was also suspenseful in certain moments and the graphics were especially quite interesting. So, I do not feel disappointed and I am awarding this 6.7/10. ()

English I definitely liked the second season better than the first. Especially the character development (Mob in particular covered a lot of ground) and the viewer's deeper introduction to Reigen was very nice. It was suspenseful, fun, mature, and playfully childlike. I liked how the anime escalated, but I didn't like it anymore by the ending – by which I mean the final battle between Mob and Daddy. The broccoli plant was good, but that's about it. Mob at school, opposing Reigen, and forming a complex personality was the best. A weaker 4 stars. ()
