Szilárd, a manager from Budapest, nauseated with civilization, starts out with his canoe towards a lonely Danube island to spend a few days' holiday there. His seclusion is soon broken by the appearance of Zsuzsanna, a young woman thrown on shore by an uncontrolled motor-boat. She apparently enjoys the sensitive situation, from which there is no escape, as the canoe has broken to pieces and the motor-boat has been carried away by the current. They spend pleasant time together, and by the time the girl's family and fiancé find her, thought to be dead, she is already in love with Szilárd and about to marry him. They leave to the island of their honeymoon, the place where their love started, in a motor-boat. (official distributor synopsis)
