Five friends, the piano artist, the actor, the critic, the doctor and the banker get together 20 years after their maturity examination in the country home of the piano artist in order to spend a few pleasant days together without tuxedos and shaving, recalling their youth. Oltai Éva, the well-known singer, gets stuck on the muddy road after heavy rains and asks for accommodation in the manor- house. The unexpected appearance of the attractive woman upsets the plans of the five friends. They put on their tuxedoes and start competing for Éva's favours. Only the critic behaves coldly with the intruder. Yet Éva is interested exactly in him, but only because she wishes to take revenge on him for having once destroyed with his vitriolic critique the career of her lover, the young playwright. In the end, however, the two of them fall in love. (official distributor synopsis)
