Hotel Sunrise is a busy place. Male guests are, almost without an exception, in love with Mária, the directress of the hotel. Mária turns out to be the wife of Földi Péter, the hotel secretary, but the fact is kept a secret for business considerations. Yet Péter is impatient, wishing to live the life of a married man. He declares war. He elopes with the wife of one of the guests, and as they return, they pretend to be a married couple. Meanwhile two customers are trying to win Maria; but none of them succeed as Maria and Péter make peace again, and decide to run the hotel under new conditions. The authority is to go to Péter now, and lady guests are now competing for his attentions. (official distributor synopsis)
