English The fascinating thing is that Netflix maintains its technical quality despite an unsalvageable crappy script. The premise of Mercy is a total bullshit. An old mother is on her deathbed and the sect from the neighborhood wants to give her some alternative medicine. Her kids come home to defend her tooth and nail. There is a war raging around the old woman who doesn’t even wake up. The fighting is intense, takes place mostly in the dark, and then it turns out the way it does, and you think that if everyone had a bit of sense, the story would end in the first five minutes. The premise is something that only the American market would enjoy, because it’s based on classic redneck behavior, takes place in a classic dusty southern home with a veranda, and moreover features a religious sect, which are dime-a-dozen in America. English It has quite a good atmosphere at times, but in the end, you realize that it's all created mainly by the darkness and the dark corners. Unfortunately, the story lags behind significantly and is simply a bit strange and not very functional. The characters are slightly clichéd, where you kind of expect their behavior from the beginning. ()
