The Fishermen

A short stop-motion film about manipulation and the capability of holding onto one´s self-awereness in the technologically-driven age told through the tale about fisherman, who pulls a skeleton out of a frozen laze. He tries to escape from the skeleton so he hides in the dark, where he looks for comfort in cheap entertaintment. Yet the reality scratches on the window, and the fisherman´s hiding place quickly becomes a place full of nightmares. Manipulation, humanity, puppetry - the main themes of this film. (FamuFest)
