Season 1 (2017) (S01)

English I would probably describe the first season as weird. About halfway through, I was convinced that I would give a “Boo!” rating to the rest of the episodes, too, but either the second half was better, or it seemed to me that way because I got numb. If the authors’ intention was for me to root for Mary, they didn’t succeed. Despite all the talk about reducing suffering and about people’s freedom to make their own decisions, you could hear the rustling of those thousands of Canadian dollar bills way too often. ()

Bloody Mary (2017) (S01E01)

English The first episode could be quite decent, but instead of the announced drama, I got a weird attempt at comedy. Basic problems were already addressed by 6thSun in their comment, so I won't repeat them, I'll just add that I was surprised that not only both "facilitators" behave completely out of line, but the same goes for the police as well. ()

The River Styx (2017) (S01E02)

English The behavior of all the actors was even more outrageous than in the pilot, I seriously don't know why all the characters have to suffer from varying degrees of mental retardation. Personally, I support the idea of assisted suicide, but once you start paying for this act, there is a decent chance that some departures from life won't be so voluntary anymore. I really didn't understand why Ben visited Mary at the end of the episode. I think even the screenwriter doesn't know. ()

Wave the White Flag (2017) (S01E03)

English No, it's clear that the creators are trying to make each episode more absurd than the previous one. So far, they are succeeding. If the firefighters also leave after Mary in the next episode, I think it will be a complete lineup. What do you think Mary will insufficiently hide from her daughters next time? A video with euthanasia or a spicy recording with Ben? I'm really curious. ()

Raised by Wolves (2017) (S01E04)

English No, I don't know, I'm still fruitlessly looking for that drama. Moreover, I have an undeniable feeling that the scriptwriter was on drugs or that different laws apply in Canada than in the rest of the civilized world, because I can't otherwise explain Ben Wesley's behavior. In any case, I'm probably getting used to it, since I added one piece. ()

The Judas Cradle (2017) (S01E05)

English Okay, it's official, I'm getting used to it. For the first time, I didn't feel like I was watching a failed comedy, the fifth episode wasn't a masterpiece, but it was the best so far. For the first time, I also felt like I was watching a drama, only a shame about the awkward acting. ()

Morning Glory (2017) (S01E06)

English Please, a few more episodes and I could have been a fan of this series. Even in the final episode, the plot was nicely drawn out, although in no way as stupid as in the second and third episodes. I would say that after the finale of the first season, I am cautiously and pleasantly satisfied, even though I expected a big letdown. ()

Season 2 (2018) (S02)

English After watching the first season, I expected the second one to be worse, but I was still surprised by the extremely poor quality of some episodes. The season finale made both seasons look like a total farce. With such a development, I expect euthanasia to be performed at crowded stadiums in the next season. ()

The Means (2018) (S02E01)

English Based on the experience from the previous season, I didn't expect any miracle, and I didn't get one either. On the other hand, it is true that I was expecting a disappointment, and the first episode of the second season was actually quite okay. It's a pity that they couldn't get rid of those foolishly behaving teenagers, it would have been even better. ()

The Connection (2018) (S02E02)

English After the introduction, I was quite pleased, but the second episode brought me back down to earth. Originally, I thought I was confused, but now it's clear to me that the chaos lies with the writer. The storyline with Olivia and Mary's blackmailing doesn't make sense at all, Nicolino's behavior as well, and the bisexual-lesbian duo has expanded into a trio. ()

Twin Flames (2018) (S02E03)

English No, I don't know... Either the creators are not capable of creating a proper story with functioning logic, or they are making fun of the viewers. I bet on the first option. I really don't understand it, Des arrives at Mary's house, realizes that it's full of teenagers, and without any concerns, starts taking drugs from secret hiding places. Yeah, yeah, that definitely happens all the time... ()

Ride or Die (2018) (S02E04)

English It's not just about the fact that half of the cast looks like they suffer from insufficient facial muscle function, but the script has started biting its own tail. In the first season, it convinced me that assisted suicide was illegal and everything had to be kept secret, now we have a family gathering with police assistance and everything is fine. ()

Come to Jesus (2018) (S02E05) Boo!

English In the first season, I managed to hold on and I didn't decrease in quality, but here the creators pushed too hard. I understand that it is a Canadian series, but I don't believe that the police would work like that there. The attempt to save the relationship with the daughter was weak, and that operation... "What? Is it leaking too much? Vein? Then we'll stitch it up. And it's already healing!". Well, it's a Wolverine mess. ()

Fatal Flaw (2018) (S02E06) Boo!

English It really can't be done, it's pure mockery. I have no idea why Mary and Des wear gloves to every event and why they destroy evidence when no one in town remains unaware of their mischief. I won't even dissect the wiretapping operation, but the final gathering on the occasion of Brandon's departure was revolting. As academic Rudolf used to say, "Above all, inconspicuously!" ()
