Marcel, 60, is a down-on-his-luck former actor and producer of variety shows. His wife left him nine days ago (he's only just noticed), and all his money has evaporated in bad investments. To avoid total bankruptcy, Marcel decides to put on one last show. With the help of a few of his old cronies from Montreal, and his estranged son Pedro, Marcel stages a comedy: a hybrid of burlesque and modern theatre. Meanwhile, some unusual circumstances force everyone to reinvent friendships, father-son love - and even the idea of family. (Les Films Séville)
