I can't help but feel that this film relies heavily on the dog. He is the only one who truly captivates you; the story doesn't quite manage it. Glenda Farrell almost seemed like someone who was no longer enjoying themselves here. I probably liked this episode the least of all the Torchy Blane stories. At least for now. ()
