Out Again

Cat and Liz, early 30s, take a trip to visit Cat's parents to share the news of their recent marriage. Cat is filled with fear about telling her homophobic mother the news. Cat's mother June, late 60s, who is waiting to go to her dead mother's funeral, greets them. Cat confronts her father about her mother's condition, he asks her to pretend to be straight for the weekend just to keep things simple. Cat and Liz agree but are then seen kissing by June. Cat is forced to confess their marriage and come out again. At dinner, Liz announces her pregnancy and everyone is happy until June asks who's the lucky guy revealing the worsening state of her Alzheimer's. (Outfest Los Angeles)
