English The world of gangsters is a massive pull, audiences love it, and that is clear since The Godfather or Pulp Fiction were released back in the day, they are irresistible. If you have charismatic antagonists with an interesting backstory who are not completely black and white, and you add a well-crafted setting full of gore and violence plus a well-developed narrative, you can get something really interesting. Well, I must say that Gangsta has all the right ingredients! The two leading male protagonists ("Handymen") are very interesting characters; the world the show is set in has "the magic of repulsiveness," it just looks great, and some scenes are amazing. I have to add that it also has a pretty good soundtrack; the music suits the show's vibe. It also has a very well-developed narrative, and the most intriguing parts are the backstories of the Handymen and those who wear the "dog tags." In other words, Gangsta offers something for everyone. For younger viewers, there are the fight scenes, which are action-packed and match a lot of other very good shounen. There are some complex characters and a fascinating narrative for the older viewers. There are tough and charismatic Handymen for female viewers, and there is also a love story. The best part is that it holds together well and is very easy to watch. Gangsta is, in my opinion, one of the best anime of Summer 2015 releases, and I, for one, just hope that when the show gets a little further along, I am going to get more episodes. 9.6/10. ()
