Halfway between heaven and Earth lies Konohanatei, an inn with an exceptional reputation for both hospitality and tradition. Day in and day out, foxgirl attendants work diligently to keep the inn running, but none more so than their newest worker, Yuzu. Naïve yet eager to learn, she's paired with the no-nonsense Satsuki who, despite numerous objections, takes Yuzu under her paw. As patrons come and go with the passing seasons and as connections blossom between the girls, Yuzu's curiosity guides her. There is not much bath fan service considering it is a narrative concerning a spa, certainly much less than I would have expected, and personally speaking, I am happy with that. There is a lot of cuteness, and perhaps it is sometimes way too forced and too much, in my opinion. Surprisingly, I thought the show worked much better when dealing with various incidents with the gods and other people than when the girls were dealing with their problems or being cute with each other. Still, it is an enjoyable show that someone like me (i.e., a person with a thing for cute things and cute animated girls) found it pleasantly relaxing and occasionally put that satisfied smile on my face that is the measure of quality when it comes to this concept. 7/10.
