Totem

After the death of his wife, a father invites his new girlfriend to move in with him and his two daughters. Both daughters have trouble adjusting to this change but things get scary when a necklace brings about a series of unexplained occurrences and we learn that something mysterious tormented the girls' mother before her death. In an effort to explain the incidents surrounding the necklace, one of the daughters comes across a book about "totems," physical objects that tie spirits to the real world, and looks for a way to use the necklace to control the presence in her house.
