English An entertaining and energetic portray of not only the student generation that everyone wants to belong to. The story relies heavily on episodic humour and the innate empathy of contemporary youth, but holds tightly together and in the finale proves that it can still entertain, even after forty years (the unpretentious jokes are regularly interspersed with very imaginative and over-the-top ones). John Landis understood well the nature of his target audience – and it's hard to imagine an American director in the late 1970s and early 1980s who was more beloved by them. 75% ()
