Fantastic production design, likeable characters. It's one of those deus ex machina narratives without a major climax, but it's great as a diversion. ()
What can I say? It's clear that I'm not the target audience for this show, which seems geared towards a younger or more naive crowd. I didn’t enjoy the pilot episode at all. It was freezing cold, but then they're casually operating on a leg outside, with no steam coming from the open wound or their breath. And of course, there's another deus ex machina moment. Judy’s presence in the Robinson family can only be explained by diversity quotas and Daddy Robinson’s frequent absences. ()
