Four friends on their way to Coachella stop off in Los Angeles to tour true-crime Satanic Panic-era sites, only to find themselves interrupting an apparent human sacrifice. For most of its runtime, the American horror film Satanic is a fairly undemanding spectacle that doesn't really have much to show, there are no interesting scenes, it's more like chatter and shots that are not that interesting, and yet the characters are also not downright annoying. That's the first bonus point. The second is the fact that it's nice and bloody in places. That's when the film takes a turn that is unexpected. But unfortunately, it’s not always long-lasting.
