Adolfo and Azucena are sleeping. The phone rings. Adolfo answers. It is the disheveled neighbor pleading Adolfo to act in favor of the upstairs tenant who is being beaten up by her husband. Adolfo, who barely knows them, weighing the risk, declines. After hanging up, it’s Azucena’s turn to address the problem. (Guadalajara International Film Festival)
