I typically reserve three stars for opening episodes, but this time, I gave a bit more. It's not often that creators portray the zombies as anything other than mindless, slow brain-munchers, so I appreciated this fresh take. Although, I must say, I was taken aback by the Australian tradition of burying the dead naked. I get it, why splurge on Armani for the departed? It's just that this custom hasn't quite made its way here yet.
