The Mule

Based on a true story, the film follows 90-year-old divorced war veteran Earl Stone (Clint Eastwood) in his role as a drug runner for the Mexican Sinaloa cartel. After losing his family and his home, Earl seeks to atone for his failures as a husband and a father by paying for his granddaughter's wedding and earn enough money to move back into his home. A chance job opportunity leads to a lucrative partnership with the cartel, but Earl risks losing more than his new job when the Drug Enforcement Administration start to close in on his misdeeds.
