Filmed in Yiddish, M follows Menahem Lang, who opens the secret door of his hometown, Bnei Brak, 'the city of men in black', the world capital of ultra-Orthodox Jews. It is a return to the crime scene: it is here that he was raped throughout his childhood. It is also a return to the places he loved so much, an initiatory path strewn with unheard encounters, rituals found... a reconciliation. (Sarajevo Film Festival)
