English One of the reasons why the general public began to swear at romantic comedies was because of numerous repeats in the television afternoon, the impossible dummy Julia, the incomprehensibly ragged Gere, and the tired Marshall as the director with minimal fresh ideas. What surprises me the most is that the Bride practically goes beyond the genre. Romance does not work at all in it, and it is funny almost by accident. ()

English I'm enjoying the negative reactions, even though it's absolutely as over-sweetened a romcom as Pretty Woman, and surprisingly with a slightly more realistic basis. Richard is good, while Julia again does a very good job of playing someone completely different than usual and this is in no way a copy of Vivian, so what are you on about? That the prince finally got a marriage proposal from the princess? Oh, God. ()
