Samurai Teacher

Kamiki is a favorite of mine, Sakamoto Ryōma likewise, so I watched it for them. Plus I'm quite fond of time travel as well, so I thought maybe it would be fun. Nothing horrible happened, but if you've seen a few shows from a school setting, you feel like a fish in water and nothing can surprise you – once again the moralizing is there. The story follows the typical template, nothing is surprising. The acting is shallow, so I enjoyed watching Kamiki but still wasn't that blown away. A good scene here and there, otherwise average to below-average. It won't make anyone's knees knock, but it's a pretty decent time killer. (04/01/2016)
