In a letter, a son narrates his mother’s disappearance on the night of October 2, 1968, as well as the fruitless search his father undertook until his death. This essay, assembled out of many photographs, is an invocation not only to the disappeared of 1968, but also to all the missing people in present-day Mexico: a country where people must learn to live under the weight of the fallen.
