Barry Otto is maverick Professor Harry Beckmeyer who learns to understand the torment of a freak species when he experiments on a captured "Werewolf" in his lab. When the goverments wants the experiments stopped and all traces of the species wiped out Harry (who's now fallen in love with the marsupial girl, Jerboa - Imogen Annesley) is determined to protect her no matter what. And it's just not a serious film. It's not taken too seriously and maybe it even wants to entertain. However, it succeeds only half-heartedly and entertains more in the sense that it is a terrible junk. On the other hand, the film is absolutely fantastic in terms of special effects and in this regard, I really enjoyed it. The series shows that we can expect anything from each film. And that is actually the biggest beauty - at least for now - of the "Howling Wolf" series.
