Magnus

The two worst local police officers are assigned to the case of a missing actor in the forest near the town of Frestad. Magnus, an amateur inventor who goes into action disguised as a cake or a piece of furniture and the depressed Daniel, who has been trying to kill himself in his free time since his wife died. Soon they come across the key characters of this case in the woods, a giant plush dog and a troll apparently in the service of unfair business. The well-known Norwegian comedian Vidar Magnussen shows in this jewel of contemporary comedy a precise sense of parody with American patterns, the despotic Scandinavian humor and a sense of total absurdity at the same time.
