My Soul to Keep is an American production that is definitely not a movie for regular horror fans who would expect something more hardcore, grittier and darker because this is a horror movie with child protagonists that is not that extreme and relies only occasionally on CGI effects. However, it has a decent atmosphere and is not completely mainstream, although it could appeal to and reach a wider audience.
