As a result of genetic engineering gone wrong in a covert government experiment, a team of new mutants possessing extraordinary powers is spinning out of control and the organisation that created them must hunt them down in an urgent product recall. Fortunately, when the series ended in 2004, it was the last time I had to deal with the unbearable barrier of actual unavailability. Moreover, that was the height of my love for Vicky Pratt of Cleopatra 2525... Since then, if I'm interested in watching anything new a few hours after it airs in the US, it's no longer a problem. However, because of Mutant X, I still went through the classic round of separate discovery and, after admiring the individual photos and the glorious viewing experience. I've gotten over the fact that the show was cancelled due to the production company going bankrupt, and I've said goodbye to my favorite group only to revisit it now and again. Mutant X Lives!
