Graansha (S02E21)

The murder of a female probation officer (guest star Angela Reed) leads Detectives Goren (Vincent D'Onofrio) and Eames (Kathryn Erbe) to suspect her boyfriend, a college anthropology professor, or his delinquent teenaged son who reported to the victim - but their attention soon turns to the dead woman's vagabond family of Irish gypsies. The detectives connect a few dots and discover that the clannish family's lifestyle was to keep moving from one petty scam to another, a lifestyle that the probation officer vehemently opposed and intended to change for at least one relative.
