Špindl 2

I started watching this film expecting it would be even worse than its predecessor. The creators certainly did not disappoint me in this respect. The film was full of familiar as well as completely unfamiliar faces, and I was quite surprised that the only actress who delivered an actual acting performance was Anna Čtvrtníčková. She managed to make me laugh several times with her grimaces so typical of her father. The screenwriter, on the other hand, did not make me laugh even once. He only managed to amaze me with one scene. That’s right, it was that fantastic medical procedure, which brought about a feeling of joy from saving a human life. WTF??!! Plus, watching the "star actress" who had the expression of a doped sheep on her face the whole time, was an experience in itself. (11/05/2020)

Immediately after watching the film, I find it was slightly better than Špindl with Anna Polívková. The credit for this goes mainly to the acting duo Hana Vagnerová and Filip Blažek. Under the weight of all the unfunny awkwardness that the poor script offers, I ended up enjoying their story leading towards a romantic ending. (30%) (16/02/2023)
