The fiancée of Nyáray Tamás, Kriszta, would like to become a singer, and in his absence, she accepts the proposal of the director of the Gramophone Record Company to sing the latest hit in the shop-window of a record shop, dressed in a bathing suit. Her jealous fiancé is informed about the sensational event in a café. He rushes to the scene and shoots into the shop-window. Fortunately, the victim is just a puppet, because on this day Krisztina, thinking of the arrival of her fiancé, only undertook the task of singing. The young man is carried off to the Hárshegy insane asylum. He learns that Kriszta has not been hurt, but travelled abroad and became a renown singer. He is soon cured and gets acquainted with a nice, modest girl, Klári. They are preparing for their wedding when Kriszta arrives back. She would like to revive their old relationship, but Tamás now only loves Klári. (official distributor synopsis)
