It is certainly one of the best Poirot stories, maybe also because it is where Poirot and Hastings start their joint work. It works great in the beginning, until Poirot arrives, but once the murder happens and he appears on the scene, it's just wonderful. You enjoy his charisma, but also how he manages to solve the case in the end. Beautifully twisted, when you really don't know until the very last moment.
