For her short documentary drama (dealing with the curious youthful age of the famous Czech painter František Kupka), Natálie Císařovská made extensive use of feature film techniques and succeeded in bringing the audience closer to the thought processes of the young man. They may have seemed a bit strange or primitive to some, but there was (and still is) a great depth to them. (70%) (21/01/2022)
