English Laurent Micheli tells quite an original story about loss, courage, unbridled courage, acceptance of differences and the search for one's own identity. The characters are portrayed with sensitivity and many layers, so I was able to empathize with their problems very easily. Benoît Magimel has matured like wine and portrays the resigned father of the teenage transsexual Lola incredibly convincingly. Equally amazing was Mya Bollaers as his newfound daughter. I also really liked the music, which augmented the emotions and feelings of the main character. (95%) ()
