An enjoyable film that has the advantage that its book has the same author as Jaws, and can laughingly avoid the "Just a Jaws knockoff" comparison. If I had to choose whether to be more afraid of sharks or these slimy cephalopods, snails, clams and God knows what else, I would definitely prefer to swim in the company of great whites. I was pleased with the actors and the quite brisk and skillful direction.
