English A story set in the 1950s where people of colour certainly didn't have it easy. We follow former Marine Atticus, his beautiful girlfriend Leticia and his uncle George as they set off across America in search of Atticus’s missing father. Along the way they run into plenty of trouble and have to dodge not only racist sheriffs eager to execute them, but also great looking monsters pulled from Lovecraft's workshop, and it has to be said that the final 20 minutes is an atmospheric ride that doesn't skimp on tension and juicy gore. Fans of history, monsters, thick atmosphere and plenty of not only horror references but also Lovecraft references will come into their own. So, after the first episode, a great deal of fun and the anticipation for the next episode is huge. ()
