Atbai's Fight

Atbay lives in the suburbs of Almaty and is a street thug. His crimes are not serious: he robs children or takes part in backstreet fighting. Actually, fighting is the only thing Atbay is good at. That’s why, when he finds out about an upcoming street fight tournament, he wants to take part. For him, victory could be a chance to start a new life: to return to big sports and to get his beloved woman back. But even before the tournament begins, the winners are already decided… A comedy drama in which the protagonist fighting with an outside opponent is in fact fighting with himself, his weaknesses, his past and his guilt.
