Plots(1)

Ciro's body is slowly sinking in the Gulf of Naples. As he plunges into darkness, memories emerge. It's 1980, the earth is shaking, and buildings are falling. A baby's cry emerges from beneath the rubble. Ten years later, the baby has grown into a young boy surviving, on his own, on the streets of Naples and getting his upbringing from the underworld. The aimless child of no one becomes Ciro Di Marzio, the Immortal. (Dazzler Media)

English A warm-up act for Suburra. The charisma of the protagonist is undeniable and the work with the narrative of the plot is impressive and holds the attention. It's just a pity about the overly cowboy finale, which knocks down the otherwise quite successful mafia atmosphere and the raw setting of cold Latvia. And unlike Suburra, where all the characters are interesting, here it’s only the main one. ()

English Of course, I had secretly been wishing for Ciro's resurrection. So I couldn't miss this movie. At the beginning I was a little worried that it might be a disaster, but fortunately my fears weren’t well founded and I can now write with a smile that The Immortal works very well as a plot staple between the fourth and fifth seasons of Gomorrah: The Series with which it shares a sultry atmosphere and a great soundtrack. The grand finale is a nice, juicy gift for fans of those tough guys from Naples, Italy. (80%) ()
