They don't make movies like this anymore, I thought at first, and was pleased that The Comeback Trail comes across as a cool cross between The Producers and Bowfinger. But, as the minutes pass by... Somewhere in the middle... The film began to look like something that tried to hopelessly imitate those two. If it wasn’t for the cast, it wouldn’t be worth it. By the way, I don't understand that filmmakers, that is, people who make films, can't make a film about making films in a way that makes sense.
