English The continuation of the depressing madness from the sick mind of Phil Stevens. I liked Flowers because it’s an extremely depressing, challenging, silent and artistic film where the story is told through symbols, images and metaphors. It presented a sort of purgatory of six girls going through hell in an underground house full of dead bodies, bones and filth. In short, an unpleasant thing. I enjoyed the second one a little less. The story describes the final days of a twisted serial killer during a twisted birthday party where we follow all of his murder victims. Most of the time one girl is walking through an ugly shack where every room is lined with bones, corpses wrapped in plastic, blood, pictures of dead people, murder weapons, entrails and various fluids. Admittedly, all of the rooms look disgusting and creepy, you simply wouldn't want to spend a minute in there. The music playing is disturbing and the whole thing is very artsy, experimental and surreal, but since there is no talking, the viewer may get bored for a significant part. Here, in short, one can only marvel at all the perversity and creepiness, though I think Stevens pushed the envelope more in the first one; here I missed a memorable scene, something that would have put me on my ass or pulled me out of my chair. It's hard to rate a film like this, but unfortunately I don't feel like four stars this time. 6/10. ()
