Julius Gottlieb is fourteen years old and, at five feet tall, not exactly one of the tallest boys in his class. The girls hardly know he exists, but even so Julius has enough self-confidence. After all, he is the Danish boxing champion in his weight class. The Fly follows this young boxing talent for one year during trainings, bouts, championships and at school. Although Julius loves his sport, he is seriously thinking about quitting. He is afraid of brain damage and other serious injuries. In the meantime, he prefers to dream of the many girls he will meet at the school he will attend once he turns fifteen. (International Documentary Film Festival Amsterdam)
