Napoleon and Love

Classic television from the 70s. The series formally looks like any other television production from that time - exteriors are not necessary, and everything important is resolved through dialogues. So it doesn't really matter if a person just listened to the series. The topic, the biography of Napoleon told through his mistresses, is not bad. The first episodes are remarkable thanks to Billie Whitelaw, while Ian Holm is just getting started, and later he is much more tolerable. In addition, there is the typical British humor that mocks everything that was happening in France back then. (18/09/2023)
