Margrete - Queen of the North

The year is 1402, and a woman is at the forefront of a new Nordic kingdom. Margrete I has united Denmark, Norway and Sweden in a union, which she manages independently through her adopted son, King Erik. The union is surrounded by enemies, and Margrete is therefore planning a marriage between Erik and the English princess Philippa. An alliance with England will be able to strengthen the Kalmar Union and secure it against attack.
