Body Cam

A decent police thriller with elements of the supernatural. It's a cheaper film, but the visuals look cool and the actors don't offend. Cops start dying mysteriously in the city and Mary J. Blige tries to get to the bottom of it. I was definitely surprised by the killings, where the makeup artists didn't slack off; the scene in the store has a very solid atmosphere, and actually the movie has a pretty interesting twist and a decent theme of a supernatural entity killing off cops. It's a very eager B-movie that certainly doesn't offend. Story***, Action***, Humor>No, Violence***, Entertainment***, Music***, Visuals***, Atmosphere****, Suspense***. 6/10. (21/05/2020)
