Starring Kay Kyser and his band, the film follows them and a USO troupe on a tour of U.S. bases abroad, throwing in a few subplots for laughs. While his band is working a base in Australia, young Marcy (Marcy McGuire) asks Kay if she can join his band on tour, until her father, stationed in the States, sends for her. Kay refuses because of her youth, but the girl boards the plane as a stowaway. When she's discovered in New Delhi, the American Consul rules that she must return to Australia, but Kyser takes pity on the girl, and allows her to go on the road with the troupe. Meanwhile, Mischa Auer has become involved with a mysterious Countess Olga (Joan Valerie), who gives him a ring which she claiming it has placed a curse on her. Joan Davis, eager for male companionship, tries the ring on, it is happy to see that three men have followed her to her hotel. When they unfortunate Auer takes the ring back, the three men kidnap him, and unlock the map that is hidden in the ring. This is an amiably silly hour-and-a-half. (official distributor synopsis)
