On a gloomy morning, two young people awake in one bed. The girl takes herself a beer and nibbles at a bread-roll. The young man does not remember when he took the girl home. He does not even know her name, although the girl at first claims to be his wife and introduces herself to him as Eva Maria. Then she tells him that she has a fiancé - a violin player, that she has nowhere to live, and then falls asleep again under the sounds of an old gramophone. (official distributor synopsis)
