English Pieces is a remarkable combination of American slasher and European giallo. The actors’ performances are typically absurd and the film has a whiff of B-movie about it, but at the same time it surprises with a creative script. There are more characters than we are used to in this particular sub-genre, but all of them have their place in the crime story and make it more interesting. Another big advantage of the film is also its quick start – no slow introduction, with furious slashing starting with the first scene. ()

English Oh well. If I had read the reviews here I wouldn’t have watched Pieces because I know very well I’m unable to appreciate this type of horror. It’s not Boo!, but it is garbage, which, at least for me, it’s almost the same. ()

English "Mil gritos tiene la noche" is an extremely simple film at first glance, and it truly is. It only benefits from having a crazy killer, a known past, and then just the murders of girls who are not afraid to reveal something of their nudity. Yes, it's simple, but at the same time effective, which I simply have to appreciate. The film doesn't pretend to be anything else, but it manages to captivate the viewer and lead them to a successful ending, which is topped off with a nice final shot. ()
