Steffi's life couldn't be better: she’s young, has just bagged her school certificate and is looking forward to starting a prospective apprenticeship. She would like to celebrate leaving school with a trip to Paris with her classmates and friend Fabi. But just before she leaves, she receives a devastating diagnosis: the 16-year-old has cancer – and she doesn't have long left to live. Her parents Eva and Frank are shaken by the revelation and don’t want to let their daughter go to France. Right at this very moment, the penniless circus artist Steve enters Steffi's life and offers to take her to Paris. They set off on an adventurous road trip with Steffi's parents hot on their heels. Director André Erkau’s Gott, du kannst ein Arsch sein! is a humorous coming-of-age drama. The German star cast sees Til Schweiger and Heike Makatsch play alongside the Swiss actor Max Hubacher.
