German cinema has rarely made a mark on the world, and this TV movie is just proof of that. Even by German production standards, it has only an average screenplay and forgettable performances, including that of the popular German actor Götz George. Routine direction and a plot that every fan has seen more than once, and usually in better execution. Simply another run-of-the-mill German TV crime drama. Overall impression: 40%. For Czech fans, the Czech element in the screenplay might be interesting. (09/12/2007)
