Plots(1)
A dark and twisted adult fairy tale, filled with magic and violence. Once upon a time, there lived a twin brother and sister named Jack and Dora. They were very happy until their mother suffered a breakdown and had to send them away. The poor little boy and girl went to an orphanage, where they were forcibly separated and farmed out to different homes. Although Dora's new family treated her kindly, the neighborhood children mocked and hit her. Jack fared even worse; his wicked stepparents and stepsisters taunted him, and punished him cruelly. Then, one day, Jack realized he had a mysterious power -- a power that would help him find his Dora once again. A power that would help him get revenge. (official distributor synopsis)
